Grinding your teeth at night
Alot of people clench very hard or grind their teeth at night. It can be very damaging to your teeth. It may also effect muscles in your face and neck. Many people are unaware that they do it.
If you notice chipped or brken teeth or fillings, receding gums, flattening of teeth, head or muscle aches in the morning- you may be grinding or clenching at night. Tell your dentist and they can check out your mouth for you.
One of the solutions is to wear a custom fitted mouth guard at night. You are supposed to sleep at night, not do muscle exercises with your mouth and neck muscles!
